The Valir Physical Therapy clinic in Elgin opened October 7, 2013. The facility operates as a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic.
Valir Physical Therapy provides physical and rehabilitative therapies that are designed to address the short- and long-term needs of all ages during recovery from surgery, injury, or chronic illness. We provide outpatient services for general orthopedic rehabilitation and for spinal, neurological, pre- and postoperative rehabilitation, pediatrics, and arthritis management. Our therapy programs emphasize the use of manual therapy techniques and self-management programs.
Our referral base includes physicians of many specialties, participating insurance networks, employers and workers’ compensation groups.
Through Valir Health’s mission to establishing a higher standard, we pride ourselves on building relationships within our community and doing the right thing to ensure that our patients receive service in a safe, comfortable and healing environment.
Tracie Koehler is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Physical Therapy in 1995. She began her career with Lawton Physical Therapy shortly after graduation where she has remained until joining Valir Physical Therapy of Elgin. Tracie was promoted to the level of supervisor for Lawton PT in 2001. She remained in this position until 2012 at which time she became the Lead Outpatient Therapist for both Lawton PT and Jim Thorpe outpatient departments.
Tracie has been married to her husband Waylon for 21 years they are the proud parents of Bradyn and Scotlyn. The Koehler’s are very active in the congregation at Crossroads Baptist Church of Elgin where Tracie is the church clerk. She enjoys her children’s school activities and is a Tip In Club officer for the Elgin Owl’s basketball program. Tracie’s outside activities include lecturing yearly at the SWOSU PTA program.
